Sustainability as a driver of efficiency and brand equity. Achieving more with less.
Balancing the triple bottom line.
We are entering a new era of business opportunity. If a brand acts with integrity, tells a consistent story and builds credible positioning, the more effective your marketing will become. Through balancing people, planet and profit, we can achieve more with less. I can help you achieve this sustainable success.
Using less resources not only creates positive environmental impacts but also improves your financial bottom line. Once you see the benefits of viewing the world through a triple bottom line lens, it’s impossible to turn back. I therefore use a number of frameworks to demonstrate the value of working in this way.
Systems thinking.
Systems thinking is a holistic approach that views interconnected networks of elements working together towards a common goal. Instead of focusing on individual parts in isolation, this approach emphasises the relationships and interactions between these parts.
The example of the icosahedron can be used to symbolise the power of connecting individual parts to achieve more with less. If we imagine that the 20 individual triangles represent individual parts of a business, they become so much more powerful when they are joined together to create something whole, which is more than the sum of their parts.
Using the B Corp framework to embed sustainability DNA.
I’ve trained to become a B Leader so that I can use the B Corp framework within a strategic review of your business. Exploring the 5 pillars of governance, workers, community, environment and customers ensures that the foundations for building brand equity are strong and authentic.
I use a clear and robust process to achieve B Corp certification with efficient use of your time and resources.
“By placing shareholder value above all else, businesses have harmed our societies and our planet.
Imagine if we could harness business to solve these problems, and to create a thriving planet and prosperous future for all of us.
B Corps are doing business this way.
They align the interests of their business with those of society.
They manage their impact with as much rigour as their profits.”
— B Corporation
The B Corp community is growing fast
There are now over 2,000 B Corps in the UK and they are all working together to build a community of purposeful businesses. B Corps are recognisable with the ‘Certified B Corporation’ logo which is only awarded once all standards have been met.
